HARTING offers customized Industry 4.0 solutions at SPS

Infrastructure box of HARTING

HARTING Technology Group will take the opportunity of this year's SPS IPC Drives trade fair - November 24-26 in Nuremberg - to demonstrate its innovative products and solutions.

MICA will play a special role at the SPS show. HARTING IIC MICA (Modular Industry Computing Architecture) means that HARTING now offers a modular platform featuring open hardware and software that can be quickly and inexpensively adapted to numerous industrial applications. In addition, HARTING will introduce an infrastructure box intended to demonstrate advances in switch cabinet construction with DIN-rail based automation devices towards a highly integrated device design. As a result, in future both machines and plants will be able to be flexibly networked based on the Industry 4.0 concept.

HARTING will also present its Embedded Transponder Base (ETB) at SPS. Within the Industry 4.0 environment, the ETB is the interface to objects which do not have their own IP address. This means that cargo or containers, as well as tools or other load carriers, will be directly seen, detected and controlled by higher-order processes. In addition to this identification, the ETB is able to operate various binary sensors in wholly autonomous manner and transmit their values via wireless interface.

Come and visit us at SPS. It's well worth it!
