Han-Modular® docking frame

Han-Modular® docking frame

Float mount frames enable ‘blind’ connection

With the HARTING Han-Modular® series, users can assemble their ‘own’ connectors according to their own individual requirements. A new Han-Modular® docking frame in the 10B size range is now available.

‘Blind’ connection has long been an option, thanks to the automatic processes provided by the established Han-Modular® system. The docking frame makes it possible to create a modular docking connector without a housing. This type of connector is needed for example as an insert in switch cabinets. The insert cassette is pushed into the cabinet. The sides of the connector can now be brought together ‘blind’ and so connected reliably.

This is achieved by means of a float mount frame, which can move freely
to +/- 2 mm. At the same time, leading centering pins / bushes with high mechanical stability ensure that both connector sides connect reliably together.

This now completes the Han-Modular® docking frame product portfolio, which is available in all sizes from 6B to 24B.

  •  For docking applications in the IP20 range
  •  Mechanically very stable plastic frames
  •  Moderately priced system without additional PE contacts
  •  Suitable for all Han-Modular® modules
  •  Insert tolerance +/- 2 mm (optionally +/- 4 mm)
  •  Four different sizes suitable for 2, 3, 4 and 6 modules

To enable us to respond as well as possible to customer requirements, the Han-Modular® series is constantly being expanded. There are currently over 40 modules for electrical, optical and gaseous signals for a multitude of applications and uses in Han® industrial connectors.
