HARTING Technology Group at the Hannover Messe 2013

The 66th Hannover Messe will take place in Hannover between April 8 and 12, 2013. With “integrated industry” as this year’s lead theme, the trade fair’s organizers are focusing on the increasing level of interconnection between all sectors of industry.

“Integrated industry” is also a key theme in the HARTING Technology Group’s presence at the trade fair. HARTING is presenting sophisticated applications and state-of-the-art individual solutions at its main stand (Hall 11, C13). In integrated industry, products provide the information on their processing and downstream utilization. This enables companies to adopt eco-friendly and resource-efficient strategies and to organize production more efficiently, flexibly and rapidly - entirely in line with their specific requirements. “We are trailblazers in these developments. Our concepts will ensure the success of integrated industry,” promised Philip Harting, Senior Vice President Connectivity and Networks.

Further innovations from the HARTING Technology Group will naturally also be on display at the company's stand, which spreads out over an area of over 1800 m². In addition to the main stand (Hall 11, Stand C13), visitors can also discover many attractive solutions for wind power applications in Hall 27. Electromobility solutions and the traditional automotive sector will be exhibited at the HARTING stand in the MobiliTec trade fair in Hall 25, Stand G11.

HARTING is taking part in the TectoYou initiative for young people for the fifth time. These activities aim to generate interest among young people in technical career opportunities. Over 500 school pupils and students from the region were invited by HARTING to visit TectoYou. They have the opportunity to explore the world of technology in a fun way in Hall 11, Pavilion D. Many ideas for the HARTING TectoYou stand come directly from the company’s apprentices. The “Naschithek” system – originally a HARTING goods and sales solution – was completely overhauled by apprentices at their own initiative. The new quiz “Are you a HARTING genius?” was also devised by the apprentices themselves. The HARTING straw boater, which has become a big hit at trade fairs, will of course also feature again here. As in previous years, HARTING apprentices will help to staff the stand and will be on hand to provide information on all products and about “training at HARTING”.

HARTING already has a longstanding relationship with Russia, the partner country of this year’s Hannover Messe. The country ranks as one of the Technology Group’s leading growth markets and Russian sales headquarters are located in St. Petersburg.
Individuals who are interested in finding out more about HARTING as an employer can obtain details on the latest job offers and talk to human resources officers at the main stand.
